A remarkable antique Victorian 5-piece porcelain wash stand set in the highly sought-after Thistle Pattern, produced by the J&M Company (1870-90).
Set includes: a large cold water pitcher, a wash bowl, a shaving mug/cup, a vase, and a soap dish.
Dimensions: Pitcher - 12" tall, 8 1/2" long, 7 1/2" wide; Bowl - 15 1/4" diameter, 5" tall; Cup - 4" tall, 4 1/4" long; Vase - 5 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide; Soap dish - 5" diameter, 4" tall.
All pieces are in very good condition, except for a small chip missing from the handle of one of the small jugs.
