Antique Vernonware Service for 8+

Beautiful historic set of Vernonware Early Days service for 8 from my Great Grandparents' home. Each type of dish has its own Americana pastoral-type scene: mountains, farmland, harbors, valleys, a riverboat, all kinds of things, all in clear detail, thoughtfully rendered to evoke feelings of "a better time." They're beautiful display pieces for your china cabinet or interesting conversation-starters for a formal holiday meal together with extended family. <br><br>They are 50+ years old, and while they show little to no wear, some pieces did not survive the years. I believe 1 teacup has been broken (there used to be 12 for the tea service), and I'm not sure there were ever 8 soup bowls or if there's always been 6.&nbsp;<br><br>These would be an impressive gift to present for Mother's Day, a housewarming, a wedding or birthday!<br><br>Food-safe and probably dishwasher-safe, although we've always hand-washed.<br><br>MANY more pix on request!
