Back in September 2024, I had went to David’s Bridal for my first wedding dress fitting appointment.<br>I initially had tried on a size 6 (The only one they had), which was way too small for me, but I was reassured by my stylist that a size 8 would be sufficient enough. I was not well informed at the time and did not know that wedding dress and street sizing are different (my fault, as well).<br>Got the dress delivered to me and lo and behold, still didn’t fit me in the chest/back area as I’m a weightlifter and have broad shoulders. <br><br>Fast forward to today, I had actually lost 25lbs and am able to fit the dress, but no longer see myself walking down the aisle in it anymore.
