FIRST HOME EXHIBITION GAME against Tampa Bay Lightning on September 19th 1993 at 6:05 pm. <br><br>*The first time the two teams meet on the ice officially was on October 9th, 1993, a 2-0 Panthers win that was their first in franchise history. That’s not the game this ticket is from, though. Three weeks earlier, the two teams met in a pre-season game that was pretty much peak 1990s Florida hockey. <br>On September 16th, 1993 the Panthers traveled up to Lakeland to meet the Lightning in the first pre-season game of the 1993-94 season.<br>The two teams took to the ice, following a surprise, literal kiss-on-the-cheek from Esposito to Clarke.
