This Fresnel lens was introduced in February of 2002 and was retired in December 2002. It stands about 8" tall by 4" across. This lens weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces. It is 1947/5000 made. Harbor Lights limited edition replica of the 3rd order Fresnel lens from Big Bay Point Lighthouse in Michigan.<br>The third order lens uses an assembly of prisms supported by a brass fame to reflect and refract (or bend) the light coming from a single lamp, and concentrates the light into parallel horizontal beams. <br>This Fresnel light has been tested and works beautifully.
