The Charlie B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is offering this circa 1980 stunning Julie Larson oven proof 8 sided dish with MIngei decoration. Julie Larson was born in Pulaski, New York. Her studies include the following institutions: SUNY at Buffalo, Siena in Italy and she received her advanced degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, where she delved into the study of the coiling as a method of hand building and wrote a paper per "The Penland School of Crafts Book of Pottery". She started working with her husband Tyrone Larson (1940-) in 1966 from their Royal Oak, Michigan studio.
