She endured horrific and agonizing tortures for refusal to worship the pagan idol, instead confessing her faith in Christ. <br><br>These crosses are made in Greece in small series. A classic byzantine cross with a very symmetrical shape that is very popular. These pieces are distinguished by meticulous chiseling, filigree, or graining. A red garnet is placed at the center as a symbol of love and compassion.
