Box was opened for photos and to inspect/test only.<br><br>A Mercari review<br>“An unsung hero in L’Artisan’s lineup, such a shame it’s discontinued.<br>Something to be wary of with the previous reviews- the older gold capped version Extrait de Songe is quite different and unwearable to me- it’s is an obnoxious overdose of persistent white musk, I scrub it immediately.<br>The newer version is gorgeous, intimate, sunny and beautiful. It smells first of Linden, a true linden note that is slightly soapy and lightly white floral- it is photorealistic perfection! Dried grasses (almost a sweetgrass nod) and pale green notes accompany the linden. The base is lightly musky and white woods. This perfume is fleeting like many of Giacobetti’s perfumes - I enjoy it because it is a snapshot of a summer day in a grassy meadow, it’s a Polaroid fading from memory.<br>This should have never been discontinued, I’ve never smelled a linden note so beautiful in perfumery. “
