Antique Steamer Trunk, circa 1880s - 1890s. Excellent condition with thickly lined fabric.
Features original "Eagle Lock Co Terryville Ct. Pat'd June 13, 1882 - Dec 6, 1892" lockplate. Dimensions: 24" tall x 36" long x 22" deep.
Original 3-piece hinge construction, working front latches, lock cover, brass corners, and wood trim are in very good condition. No hardware on the trunk. The lock plate has a modern nail/screw. No lock or key. Outer shell covered in "Artillery Green Painted Duck Cloth/Canvas." Leather handles are intact. Leather strapping is torn and will need replacement (buckles included). Very Clean interior. No inside tray. Sold as-is. Used for blanket storage in guest room.
