1960s Roemer Rhein Wine Chalice with grape groupings and leafed vines hand-painted in gold on a tapered bowl. Six olive-green knobs lead to a bubble-ribbed stem. These glasses are traditionally used for serving dessert wine.
Made by Bockling Glass in Germany's Moselle Region. The olive green ribbed stem identifies a Roemer Rhine glass. Few are hand-painted with a grape and vine design in gold paint. This is an extremely hard-to-find collectible, often passed down through generations.
