This is a stunning 1920's Whiting & Davis silver tone mesh gate top purse, beggars bag or accordion purse in excellent condition.<br>It has lovely shiny silver mesh and a pretty etched lid, has some corrosion, no dents or dings.<br>The interior lining has no rips or repairs and is clean and free from damage.<br>It measures approximately 7 inches from the lid to the bottom of the center point and has a nice chain handle that is also in good condition, and the gate opens to about 4 inches in diameter. It has a pretty pointed bottom that makes this bag much more unique than the usual gate top bags. See photos for condition.<br>A gorgeous purse that would work well for a wedding or special occasion, and a great piece to add to your purse collection.
