This is a rare opportunity to obtain a historical rare book printed in 1844<br><br><br>Book is 72 pages age color is present but all pages present and intact<br><br><br>Binding is good slight wrinkle on the spine on back of book<br><br><br>Book cover is a bluish gray color, there is writing on cover but extremely hard to make out<br><br><br>Book is 4 1/4” x 6 1/3” approximately In diameter and is a thin book approx 1/3” thick<br><br><br>Hardboard with extremely thin pages has a few black illustrations with book<br><br><br>Book details the story of the shipwreck of the Sheffield, back end of book has hymns and assorted religious texts<br><br><br>See the pictures for actual views of front back description page and a couple illustrations<br><br><br>It appears this was the first printing in this format<br><br><br>I’ve seen other editions listed but not in this condition, yes it has age wear being its 179 years old!<br><br><br>Excellent gift for the book collector or naval historian!
