Elegant vintage 1940s black crepe dress. Features unique hand-beaded white crescent shapes, accenting the right chest and left hip (with small pocket details).
Luxurious, flowing front skirt panel, gathered into a long hip swag on the left side.
Secured with metal zippers on the side and nape of the neck. No label present.
Measurements:
Bust: 40" (dolman sleeve)
Waist: 31" (32" tight)
Hips: 40"
Shoulder to waist: 17.5"
Waist to hem: 29" (with 2" hem allowance)
Length: 46.5"
Very good vintage condition. Beads appear sturdy; minor bead loss on the hip crescent (approx. 97% intact). Slight color lightening along the side zipper placket. Back waist darts were altered by a previous owner.
