Vintage 1975 Men’s Handmade Romanian Red Embroidered Pleated Shirt White Cotton L Button Down <br><br>Very handsome, amazing handmade and hand dyed traditional men's Romanian shirt.<br><br>Three crisp pleats on each side of the front of the shirt.<br><br>Between the pleats and the embroidery is a line of very fine eyelet work on each side.<br><br>Hand embroidered work on the collar and down the front of the shirt approx. 1 1/2" in deep purple and red thread.<br><br>The cuff of each sleeve has the same eyelet and embroidery motif.<br><br>The front closure consists of 7 buttons. <br><br>Length: 26 1/2″<br>Chest: 46″<br>Sleeve: 26″<br>Sleeve width: 3″ with a 2 button closure. The thread loops are handmade (no button holes on shirt).<br>Collar: 3" <br><br>This shirt is truly a work of art.<br><br>The eyelet work is superb, completely sewn by hand.<br><br>On the back there is a tiny bit of discoloration.<br><br>Fantastic, intricate embroidery and craftsmanship.<br><br>We spent a month in Romania the summer of 1975.<br><br>Thanks so much for looking.
