This Globe was made in 1970 as a modern replica of a 1745 Terrestre Globe Paris Globe from Robert DeVaugondy. <br>The Earth as it was known in the 18th century. <br>A great piece of 1970 history of how they were look at the world back then. <br><br>Heavy cast iron base. Here is a great looking Olde World style Terrestre Globe of Earth that stands on a heavy Cast Iron Base with bow & arrow type finals! <br>Globe itself is approx. 7" diameter and stands about 13" tall.
