This 15" hand turned vase made by Don Noble in Colorado from locally-harvested standing dead Aspen wood, which means no live trees are harmed in Mr. Noble's fantastic art. This is an absolutely beautiful example of his work. <br>After turning, this vase was sealed to prevent further drying and possible cracks in the wood, and to keep the color. A natural maple-gold color to the body with a dark rim around the top of the vase. Overall, the vase shows the natural imperfections of the wood, including one knot about mid-belly on one side.<br>Vase is in excellent used condition - no visible flaws, cracks or repairs. From a smoke-free, cat friendly home.
