Set of 3 glass tumblers from the 1960s by Georges Briard, titled "Greenfield embroidery, Greenfield Hill, Conn. 1800-1815." Georges Briard was an American designer in the 1950s-1970s, known for his signature dishware and glassware. His collections were stocked by department stores, such as Neiman Marcus. In 2004, he was awarded the Frank S. Child Lifetime Achievement Award by The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators. This set of 5 glasses was purchased in Richmond, VA in the 1960s. Glasses are in very good vintage condition - no chips or scratches. Dimensions 3" dia x 3.25" tall and 12 oz.
