This is what I imagined as I brought her back to life...<br><br>It was 1974, the summer after graduation. She packed this soft yellow organza dress into a suitcase. They drove with the windows down, hair wild in the wind—chasing music festivals, and picking wildflowers in Mendocino.<br><br>Then, life happened. The dress was hung up. Pressed. Stored. Moved from closet to closet. Forgotten—but never discarded.<br><br>And now, decades later, she’s been revived. Damaged sleeves gently removed, her collar softened with daisy lace and pearls. The original bow?
