Antique children's book: When Mother Lets Us Make Toys by G. Ellingwood Rich, published by Moffat, Yard and Company in 1915.

This charming antique book features step-by-step instructions for children to construct their own toys, models and playthings. Bound in tan cloth boards with a color cover illustration. Book is in fair condition; rear endpaper is missing, as is a portion of the "Foreword" page. The last blank page, and pages 23, 29 and 35, are torn. Covers are soiled and faded. Contents are still legible, including the author's detailed diagrams and illustrations. Rich directs the child on how to prepare their supplies and materials and construct ingenious baby carriages, ladders and other fascinating toys. A scarce title. 122 pages; approx. 5"x7". AS-IS.
