OF THE KENDALL CO. - CHICAGO<br>This is a historic piece of nostalgia.<br>This is an unopened First Aid Packet issued by the US Government during WW II.<br>The packet contains Crystalline Sulfanilamide<br>Crystalline Sulfanilamide was one of the first Sulfa Drugs to be extensively used. It was designed to be sprinkled over any severe open wound before applying a sterile dressing, in an effort to prevent infection to the area.<br>The packet also contains a dressing to apply to the wound.<br>This is a small packet easy to carry (4” x 2” x 1”)<br>This piece of militia nostalgia is still in the original packaging and has never been opened.
