Incredibly rare piece of WWII D-Day German shrapnel, excavated from Omaha Beach in Normandy. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (C.O.A.). This shrapnel is from the German forces. This piece offers a significant glimpse into the events of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. The 1st Infantry Division faced the most difficult conditions on Omaha Beach during the D-Day operations. This shrapnel fragment was discovered on the same beach where American troops faced heavy casualties.
